With years of experience, Àlex Lora and Christian López Lamelas have edited over 100 projects, ranging from narrative, TV, documentaries and commercials. Director, screenwriter, and editor, winner of six New York Emmys® after 12 nominations; finalist at the Oscars®-Student Academy Awards; Goya® nominee by the Spanish Film Academy, and winner of two Gaudi® awards from the Catalan Cinema Academy, after being nominated four times. With over 20 directed short films under his belt, Lora's work has received more than 100 awards and has participated in some of the most acclaimed international festivals, notably with double participation in Sundance in 2012 and 2014, and winner of the short film Grand Jury Award in 2024 for "The Masterpiece."
His first documentary feature, "Thy Father's Chair," premiered at IDFA in 2015 and commercially in theaters in New York and Los Angeles in 2017. It was considered by the prestigious The New York Times as one of the highlighted releases of the month. His second documentary feature, "El Cuarto Reino," supported by Sundance and the International Documentary Association, premiered at the Malaga Film Festival. After its screening at San Sebastián, it won the award for best film at Documenta Madrid. His first fiction feature as a screenwriter, "We are live things," based on his short film "Only Solomon Lee," premiered at Sitges and began its festival journey at Slamdance. It commercially opened in U.S. theaters in August 2022.
As an editor, his works have been featured on PBS, Netflix, HBO, Amazon, Filmin, Movistar+, RTVE, TV3, and A PUNT, among others, with notable mention of the feature films "Money" (2016) and "The Garden Left Behind" (2019).
CHRISTIAN LÓPEZ LAMELAS

Christian López Lamelas, a Spanish actor, filmmaker, and composer, began his training at the Nancy Tuñon i Jordi Oliver studio, where he combined personal and emotional growth under the guidance of coaches Carlos & Enedina. He later graduated from the Conservatorio del Liceo in Barcelona and the prestigious Stella Adler Studio of Acting in New York.
His career includes notable roles in projects such as "Genius: Picasso" for National Geographic, Imagine TV, and 21st Fox TV Studios, where he had the opportunity to collaborate with Antonio Banderas. He has also been part of the docu-series "Palomares" on Movistar Plus and has worked in off-Broadway theatrical productions in New York. Additionally, he has made his mark in the advertising world with work for brands like PlayStation: Drive Club, HP, Sol de Janeiro, and Sprite.
As a creator, Christian has developed six series projects, several short films, and numerous comedy sketches. He has directed acclaimed actors like Jordi Sánchez and Goya Award winner Kiti Mánver. His versatility and dedication have led his latest project, "Joan Has a Secret," to be selected in over thirty international film festivals, including the Cerdanya Film Festival.
In 2023, Christian took a significant step by co-founding Handful Films in the United States with director and producer Àlex Lora. Quickly, their work was recognized with the prestigious Grand Jury Award in 2024 for their short film "La Gran Obra."
